It is just a simple notepad trick
Steps
1.Open Notepad.2.Copy the code give below in the notepad file:
X5O!P%@AP[4PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*
3.Save it with an .exe extension like virus.exe
4.Within few seconds, your Antivirus will identify this file and take actions(delete/quarantine) on it.
5.If it is done, then you can conclude that your antivirus is Alive.
6.If your antivirus software does not find this file then it is time to change/update your antivirus.
